What v2rayNG is
v2rayNG is a client for Android that supports the Xray and v2fly cores and reads links in formats such as VLESS. Its project page lists protocols including VLESS, VMess, Trojan and Shadowsocks. It has no server of its own: it carries traffic to the one named in the link you add.
The project is published on GitHub, and that is the page to start from when you want the official release.
Add your key
Get the personal link from the Telegram bot.
Install the app from the project's release page, or from a store you trust.
Copy the link, open the app and use the import-from-clipboard action in the add menu.
Select the new profile in the list.
Press the connect button and accept the Android prompt that sets up the connection.
Proxy or full device
On Android the app starts a local connection that asks for the system permission to carry traffic. In that mode apps on the phone go through the profile you picked. Some settings let you exclude apps or addresses, which is useful when a local bank app dislikes foreign addresses.
Find those options in the settings before you decide that something is broken.
Settings that trip people up
Battery savers on some phones close background apps, and a connection that dies after the screen turns off is usually that. In the phone's system settings, let that app keep running in the background. Another frequent cause is a wrong clock: if the date and time on the phone are off, the secure connection can fail to start.
If the profile list shows several entries after an import, pick one and test it before you delete the rest. The link from the bot can contain more than one server, and choosing a nearer or a different country is your call; this page gives no speed figures and no ranking of locations.
What to check afterwards
- Open an IP page in the browser: the address should belong to one of the five server countries.
- Run a DNS check to see whether names still resolve on your own provider.
- Look at the app's log if the profile will not connect.
- Confirm that the whole link was imported, not a clipped copy.
Limits worth knowing
v2rayNG needs a link; it does not sell one and does not start a trial. The key comes from the bot, and you can load the same link on every phone you own. The service does not store logs of your browsing.
The server list has no Indian entry, so you will not get an Indian address. Local rules on tools like this differ, and they change.
This page gives advice on installing a client, and the site sells the key it carries, so verify the download source yourself instead of taking our word. A language model produced the first version of this text, and a person on the editorial side then read it against the service's behaviour.
Call log
01Where do I download v2rayNG?
Start from the project page on GitHub and its releases. Check any other source before you trust a file.
02Does v2rayNG work on iPhone?
No, it is an Android client. V2Box and other apps cover iPhone.
03Why does it show connected but pages do not load?
Re-import the link, check the clock and mode, and test another server country if the link carries several.
04Is a laptop covered by the same link?
A laptop works too, provided you install a client for that system; the subscription has no cap on devices.
05Does v2rayNG itself take any payment?
No. The app only reads the link; payment is made in the bot, in cryptocurrency only.
06Where do updates for the client come from?
Updates come from the release page or the store you installed it from; check there for newer versions.
